He also shares his beauty secrets in his regular columns in 101 Hairstyles magazine, where his "Step by Step Guide for Achieving Red Carpet Styles" teaches women how to create extraordinary hairstyles without spending the day at a salon. In addition, he has begun a consulting course, where he teaches entrepreneurs how to get started in the salon business.
David has helped launch the careers of some of New York's top models and is the stylist to several television anchors on NY1. He has taught makeover classes throughout his career, working with the Women's Tennis Association, the Major Model Management agency and the Orchestra of St. Luke's, which performs at Carnegie Hall, DIA and the Morgan Library and Museum.
David has been honored by City Of Hope for his leadership in organizing "HOPE CUTS" in New York City, where salon owners donated their skills to raise money for cancer patients.
